Irillyth

Irillyth is the Shade of Twilight, Phoenix Lord of the Shadow Spectres, the Aspect Asurmen founded for killing at range from a jetpack and a prism rifle. He left Mymeara on a vision that a rising reptile empire would one day eat the craftworld, and he died far from home on the world the Imperium later named Betalis III.

Mymeara hid in a nebula and kept looking. In 894.M41 they found the armour on Lileathanir's neighbour and fought the Imperium to take it back. The shrine walks again whenever a worthy Exarch can wear the plate. The original does not clock in for interviews.

Phoenix Lords are a costume with a soul in it. Irillyth's soul has been late for millennia. The rifle still works.
