Judika Quill

Judika Quill is an Imperial Inquisition agent who served as interrogator to Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn in the Helican Sub-sector’s Ordo Xenos circle. An interrogator is an inquisitorial acolyte trained directly by an Inquisitor as an apprentice and enforcer, typically undertaking field duties too hazardous or too immediate for the Inquisitor to perform personally.

Quill is recorded as a member of Eisenhorn’s retinue during the period of his campaigns against heretical and xenos threats within and beyond the Helican Sub-sector, later associated with operations extending into the wider Scarus Sector. Within this retinue, she is portrayed chiefly as a combat specialist, providing close-protection and direct-action capability alongside the retinue’s investigators, scholars, and other specialists. Her service placed her at the disposal of Eisenhorn’s inquiries into proscribed lore, daemonic incursion, and xenos conspiracy, tasks that regularly required rapid transition from covert investigation to armed confrontation.

As an interrogator rather than a confirmed Inquisitor for the greater part of her recorded career, Quill’s standing derives primarily from her association with Eisenhorn, one of the more closely documented Inquisitors of the Helican circle. Accounts differ on the full extent of her later career and any subsequent elevation within the Inquisition’s ranks. She is best understood as representative of the acolyte and interrogator class that forms the backbone of an Inquisitor’s retinue, personnel whose contributions to the Ordos’ work are substantial but whose individual records remain fragmentary within wider Imperial archives.
