Commissar Varko

Commissar Varko is a Commissariat officer said to have been associated with the early Imperial Guard career of Ibram Gaunt. Varko is recorded, in later accounts of the period, as one of a number of commissars whose postings brought them into contact with Gaunt before his rise to command of the regiment later known as the Tanith First-and-Only.
