Lord Invocatus arrives the way a bad storm does: burning sky, juggernaut, and a warband called the Fire Riders because they refuse to fight standing still. Nobody agrees if he is a leftover War Hound or a recent traitor. Everyone agrees the skulls keep stacking.

He won the Bloodstorm Helm and the juggernaut Khal'guruth on the Road of Eighty Bloody Steps. Coward's Bane and Trickster's Doom do the rest. Other World Eaters call the pace cowardice. He calls it refusing to spend a week chasing one survivor.
