Shalaxi Helbane

Shalaxi Helbane, Monarch of the Hunt, is a Keeper of Secrets, a Greater Daemon of Slaanesh, created to outdo other Greater Daemons in their own contests. Rumour holds that Helbane defeated Skarbrand, and myths describe a pursuit of the Prince of Corpseblooms into Nurgle’s garden.

The Grey Knights banished Helbane six centuries before the Rift, after which Slaanesh confined it in the Palace of Punishments as a lesson. Once released, Helbane took the fifth Cronesword from Belial IV and tracked Yvraine through the Webway. On Iathglas it held off the Yncarne, the Visarch, Jain Zar, Lelith and a Solitaire simultaneously. The body that they destroyed was a glamour, an illusory form.

Helbane declared that Slaanesh regards the Ynnari as toys. It treats the pursuit itself as the object and defers the kill to a later point, at which it will cause greater harm.
