Sholen Skara

Sholen Skara is a Chaos commander who opposed Imperial forces during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade, as recounted in the Gaunt’s Ghosts chronicles. Accounts of the crusade identify him as one of a number of commanders serving the Archenemy of Man in the protracted campaign to wrest the Sabbat Worlds from Imperial control.

Within the narrative of the Gaunt’s Ghosts chronicles, Skara is placed in opposition to Imperial Guard formations engaged across the contested systems of the crusade, including forces associated with Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt and the Tanith First-and-Only.

Sholen Skara’s standing is that of a secondary antagonist within the Sabbat Worlds Crusade narrative rather than an independently documented historical commander. His significance rests on his role as an obstacle to Imperial advances during the crusade, illustrating the fragmented and multi-front character of the Archenemy’s opposition to the Sabbat Worlds campaign.
