Skulltaker

Herald of Khorne, Sacred Executioner

Also known as U'Zuhl, U'zhul, Sacred Executioner

Skulltaker, also known as U’Zuhl, is a Bloodletter who serves as the sacred executioner of Khorne, the Blood God. His first act after coming into existence was to take the head of another Bloodletter. Khorne made his position official once the tally of skulls he had taken reached 888, and his cloak is stitched with those skulls that Khorne permitted him to keep.

Skulltaker leads from the front of the fighting rather than from the rear. He enters a melee, selects the proudest champion present, and removes that champion’s limbs one at a time. He then delivers a speech over the torso, which burns the flesh from the prize. Combatants who attempt to flee die more quickly. The Cohort of Blood consists of those whom he has judged worthy of standing near this ritual.

Skulltaker rides Khul’tyran, a juggernaut he took from Khorne’s own pens. Khul’tyran is the only juggernaut permitted to pace the halls of the Brass Citadel. Together they have not lost any challenge that they chose to name.
