Szarekh

Szarekh is the Silent King of the Necrons, the ruler who led his people into biotransference and then spent sixty million years trying to live with the result. He left the galaxy after the War in Heaven, returned to find the Tyranids eating the harvest, and decided the old empire would have to wake whether it wanted to or not.

He is not a kindly king. The Triarch speaks through him. He offered Guilliman surrender in the Pariah Nexus and meant it as a courtesy before a tomb-war. The Imperium declined.

The Silent King still intends the galaxy to be a Necron domain. Everything since biotransference has been a correction. The correction is not finished.
