The Saruthi

The Saruthi are a xenos species native to a collapsing region of space designated KCX-1288, and the custodians of the Necroteuch. Their realm is recorded as existing in a distorted, non-Euclidean fold of dimensional space, and their physiology and manner of communication are described as fundamentally alien to human comprehension, the latter reportedly capable of inflicting harm on unprepared listeners.

In the course of Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn’s investigation into the Necroteuch’s whereabouts and significance, he is recorded as travelling to the Saruthi domain to consult its keepers directly, a journey undertaken at considerable personal risk given the species’ reputation for hazardous discourse. Their willingness to engage with an Imperial supplicant, and the nature of what they impart regarding the Necroteuch, forms part of the wider account of Eisenhorn’s pursuit of the text and its associated dangers.
