Tsara’noga
The Outsider
Also known as The Outsider, The Outsider C'tan
Tsara’noga, called the Outsider, is a C’tan, or star-god, whose gaze is said to have led those who witnessed it to prefer suicide to its company. According to Eldar myth, Cegorach tricked it into consuming its own lesser kin. The swallowed fragments then cut it from within, and the star-god collapsed in upon itself.
Some accounts place the remnant, described as mad, in a Dyson prison, an enclosing megastructure, beyond the galactic south. There it is held intact, while its fellow C’tan were shattered into shards. Inquisitors have privately speculated that the hunger of the Tyranids may be a distant echo of that exile.
The Nightbringer is identified with death and the Deceiver with falsehood. The Outsider is known chiefly through myth, report and prophecy, and it remains confined and apart. The prophecy of the Farseer Lsathranil anticipates its return to harvest the galaxy once the galaxy is already red.
