Ufthak Blackhawk

Ufthak Blackhawk is a Bad Moon who treats a Waaagh! as a promotion ladder with extra dakka. Mike Brooks's novels follow him from a nobody with a lucky streak to a warboss Ghazghkull can actually use, which in Ork terms means he hits things and then has a think.

He fought through the forges of the Mechanicus, the guns of the T'au, and the kind of squig-related workplace accidents that would end a lesser career. Da Big Dakka put him in a shooting war where subtlety was a rumour. He came out with more teef, more scars, and a following that likes both.
