Ûthar the Destined

Ûthar the Destined is a Kâhl of the Greater Thurian League, a Kin clone born under a garbled Ancestor prophecy. He carries the Blade of the Ancestors, a sword that the forges produced without having been commissioned. Since its making, the weapon has lacked a defined purpose, as has its bearer.

Ûthar is regarded as ruthless, and other Kindreds recoil from him. His humour nonetheless retains the loyalty of his own Oathbands, who follow him into other Leagues’ wars. Impatient, he has left Vôrtun to seek a destiny he is no longer willing to await. He conceals his doubts from the Ancestors.

The Votann designated him Destined, though the meaning of the title remains unresolved. Ûthar intends to establish that meaning himself before another party interprets it.
