Vandred Anrathi

Vandred Anrathi is a warrior of the Night Lords, the Traitor Legion founded on the gene-seed of the primarch Konrad Curze, in the Warhammer 40,000 setting.

The Night Lords originated on Nostramo, where Konrad Curze rose from the city’s underworld to command the Eighth Legion. After the Horus Heresy the Legion’s survivors dispersed into independent warbands operating from the Eye of Terror, raiding Imperial worlds by fear and terror. Vandred Anrathi is recorded within this Legion, but the surviving record of the character is limited: his birthplace, rank, warband and the campaigns in which he took part are not established with enough certainty to be stated here, and this dossier does not supply them by inference.

His significance is therefore that of a named member of a Legion whose history is otherwise well documented, rather than that of a figure with a firmly attested career. The setting places the Night Lords’ exile and raiding in the 41st and 42nd millennia, and any warrior of the Legion belongs to that span; his relationships to contemporaries such as other Night Lords commanders, and his present status, remain unknown. This entry will be extended as his place in the timeline and on the map is confirmed.
