Assault on the Marmax Bastion

During the Siege of Terra in 014.M31, Mortarion assaulted the Marmax Bastion on Terra alongside Typhus, where he encountered Nathaniel Garro. Garro refused to return to the Death Guard and duelled Mortarion, buying time for Euphrati Keeler to escape. Mortarion struck Garro down. Garro, infused for a time with the Emperor’s power by Euphrati Keeler, wounded Mortarion’s neck with a shard of the sword Libertas and then died. The assault was at the Marmax Bastion of the Imperial Palace on Terra during the Siege of Terra in 014.M31, and Mortarion encountered Nathaniel Garro there.
