Battle for Schrödinger VII
The Battle for Schrödinger VII was a Black Templars attempt to aid the ice world Schrödinger VII, in the Vidar Sector of Segmentum Ultima. No system is recorded. Helbrecht commanded the crusade. Imotekh the Stormlord, phaeron (a Necron dynastic ruler) of the Sautekh Dynasty, had already set his armies in defence. The assault stalled in ambushes at the drop-pod and Thunderhawk landing zones. Helbrecht and Imotekh fought on an ice bridge until Helbrecht collapsed. Imotekh cut off Helbrecht’s right hand and did not kill him. The Black Templars retreated with Helbrecht and left the world in the Stormlord’s hands. One account dates the defeat to 930.M41, and the Armageddon Crusade chronology dates the Battle for Schrödinger VII to 999.M41.
