Compliance of Murder
The Compliance of Murder was a Great Crusade action fought by the 63rd Expedition against the megarachnid infesting the world thereafter known as Murder. Luna Wolves legionaries, among them Garviel Loken and Tarik Torgaddon, engaged the xenos broods in close, attritional warfare amid the hive-like structures the megarachnid had raised across the planet’s surface, the campaign noted for the severity of casualties it inflicted upon Imperial forces. The action is remembered chiefly as an early proving ground for members of the Mournival, its brutal character contrasting with the more orderly compliance actions typical of the era.
