Defence of Cyprus Ultra

The Defence of Cyprus Ultra was a late M41 engagement on Cyprus Ultima, also called Cyprus Ultra, the knight world of House Varlock, recorded in accounts of the Dawn of War III campaign. The Orks of Gorgutz ’Ead ’Unter had already begun to overrun the world when Gabriel Angelos brought the Blood Ravens to its aid, disregarding an Inquisitorial instruction to wait in orbit. The Blood Ravens and the Imperial Knights of Lady Solaria shared the defence of the house’s court against the Waaagh!, an alliance that carried over into the War for Acheron, where Solaria’s knights again fought beside Angelos in the contest for the Spear of Khaine.
