Doom of Relorria

The Eleventh Black Crusade, the Doom of Relorria, took place in 301.M39, after Abaddon bound a daemon of Tzeentch into his ship to serve as a navigator. The daemon went mad and scattered the fleet across the warp, and the nearest world to which the Black Legion found passage was the cardinal world of Relorria. There the Black Legion met an Ork Waaagh! under Murgor ‘Undred Teef, and a three-sided war followed among Traitors, Orks and daemons. Abaddon took thousands of Orks back with him to the Eye of Terror to study their use of the warp, and with his sorcerers he used Weirdboy energies in a rite that weakened reality within the Relorrian system. The Black Legion then retreated from Relorria, leaving the remaining human population to the Orks; the result of the crusade is recorded both as a retreat by the forces of Chaos and as a gain for the Orks,. The Death Guard’s attack upon the Subiaco Diablo sector, which corrupted the Snakebones Chapter, was a separate action of the same crusade, and did not involve Abaddon in person.
