The Raid on Lurid IX was a Raven Guard strike on the Imperial civilised world of Lurid IX in 995.M41. The T’au ambassador Myen O’Res, a demagogue of the Greater Good, had nearly convinced the population to join the T’au Empire and was delivering a speech broadcast throughout the planet when a small Raven Guard force under Shadow Captain Kayvaan Shrike killed him. The dramatic intervention, witnessed by Lurid IX’s population, returned the world at once to the Imperium’s embrace.
