Reappearance of the Martyr
The Reappearance of the Martyr was the 999.M41 return of the Fortress-Monastery battlecruiser Martyr to the Caligari Sector after millennia in the Immaterium. The vessel had been lost in the warp for that period before it re-entered the sector. Following the ship’s return, an expedition led by Klosterheim boarded it. Caius Thorn, an Astartes of the Stormwatchers, was found aboard. The crew of Rogue Trader Ragna van Wynter supported the boarding. On the lower decks, a Nurgle infestation spread through Klosterheim’s troops. The reappearance drew Tenebra and the wider Caligari Conclave into the earlier Pariah legacy of Uther Tiberius. The Martyr did not remain an inactive derelict. It became the sector’s named crossing of the late forty-first millennium.
