Sabbyst Planetstrike
The Sabbyst Planetstrike was an invasion of the Imperial world of Sabbyst by the forces of the daemon primarch Fulgrim, fought at some time after the opening of the Great Rift. The Iron Hands Chapter’s Clan Raukaan, led by Iron Captain and Iron Father Sind Grolvoch, came unexpectedly to the world’s aid. Grolvoch, seeking vengeance after an earlier defeat by the Necron Overlord Akanabeth, launched a reckless assault against Fulgrim. Fulgrim killed Grolvoch, who fell standing before the primarch so that refugees could escape. The Iron Hands held back Fulgrim’s forces with their lives, allowing Sabbyst’s surviving population to evacuate.
