The Temptation of Mephiston
The Temptation of Mephiston is the name given to an episode in 977.M41 in the crystal caves of Solon V, whose coordinates and segmentum are not recorded. The daemon M’kar trapped Blood Angels Chief Librarian Mephiston there and tried to lure him into becoming a Chaos renegade, claiming Mephiston was already on the path to daemonhood. Mephiston rejected the claim and throttled the life out of M’kar. No wider campaign, army, or later fate of the world is recorded.
