Accatran System

The Accatran System is a star system in Ultima Segmentum, on the Charadon border, whose forge world Accatran fields the Titan legion Legio Destructor. The system is organised as a forge system: its magi, the senior adepts of the forge, are ranked by seniority, with the highest ranks living toward the core, while scavengers inherit the poisoned surface.

Accatran is an industrial fortress on the frontier with a hostile neighbour. Ork empires, and later Death Guard forces, have treated it as a prize to be taken, and rivalries over control of Titans have also centred on it. The charted system contains little apart from the forge world, so the system and the planet are in practice one military-industrial site.

Legio Destructor is possibly the largest surviving Titan legion, and this is the principal reason that sector charts single out the system. Ultima Segmentum’s Titan strength is concentrated at a location that lies within reach of Ork forces. This site classifies Accatran under Ultima Segmentum and does not treat it as part of Metalica or of Charadon, the Ork-held world.
