Agripinaa Sector

The Agripinaa Sector is an administrative division of Segmentum Obscurus adjoining the Cadian Gate, centred on the forge world Agripinaa. It also takes in the neighbouring worlds, damaged by plague, that formerly supplied Cadia’s wars.

The Agripinaa subsector lies within the sector. The forge worlds were damaged first by the forces of Typhus and later by successive waves of the Black Crusade. Despite this damage, the Adeptus Mechanicus priesthood maintained the production of armaments. This entry describes the sector as a whole and is distinct from the entry for the planet Agripinaa.

The sector remains of strategic importance because a neighbour of the Cadian Gate that can still build tanks cannot be disregarded. In the unofficial mapping used by 40k Orrery, the sector is recorded beneath Segmentum Obscurus, and Agripinaa itself sits one level further down, through the Agripinaa system.
