Antax is the principal forge world of the Vidar Sector in Ultima Segmentum, an archeotech yard that arms hundreds of Guard regiments and a dozen Astartes Chapters. This pin already sits under vidar-sector, which is the right neighbourhood.

In 927.M41 Waaagh! Gutstompa nearly looted the place after wrecking the Mechanicus fleet in orbit. Captain Donatos Aphael's Blood Angels, still tired from the World Engine, took the high ground, dropped Death Company, and let Moriar the Chosen pull the warboss apart. The Red Thirst finished the rest.
