Antax

Antax is the principal forge world of the Vidar Sector in the Ultima Segmentum, arming hundreds of Imperial Guard regiments and a dozen Space Marine Chapters. It is an archeotech yard, a manufacturing centre built around the production and maintenance of ancient technology.

In 927.M41 the ork invasion designated Waaagh! Gutstompa destroyed the Adeptus Mechanicus fleet in orbit and came close to plundering the world. Captain Donatos Aphael’s Blood Angels, already fatigued by the World Engine campaign, secured the high ground and deployed the Death Company. Moriar the Chosen killed the invaders’ warboss, and the Red Thirst completed the destruction of the remaining forces.

Antax is remembered chiefly as a forge world rescued by the Blood Angels. It is distinct from the moons of Baal, the Chapter’s homeworld, and from Damnos, which lies in the same sector.
