Anvillus

Anvillus is a forge from the Crusade era, capable of matching Mars in output, that continues to build Mars-Alpha Warlords.

The Blood Angels stood as an honour guard at the forge until the Heresy divided the Mechanicum there. The guard was a demi-company, that is, half of a full company of Space Marines. No record survives of what became of it.

The forge’s output remains the basis of its standing, since it still produces Mars-Alpha Warlords. Each anniversary, a barge delivers to Baal a consignment of arms equal to exactly half a company. The size of the shipment corresponds to the demi-company whose fate is unrecorded.
