Anvilus IX

Anvilus IX (also Anvilus Nine) was a Great Crusade-era forge world known for Land Raider manufacture, including the Proteus pattern.

Its forges also produced Anvilus-pattern power-armour backpacks and snub autocannons fitted to Astartes war-plate. During the Horus Heresy the Dark Mechanicum seized the world and interrupted loyalist Land Raider supply.

Whether the Imperium later recovered the planet is not clearly recorded. Map placements in Ultima Segmentum remain low-confidence; the dossier treats Anvilus IX as a named forge rather than a fully surveyed system.
