Arios Quintus is the world under the Arios Beacon where Word Bearers and Night Lords allies killed Howling Griffons Chapter Master Orlando Furioso in 220.M38. The entry refers to the ambush described in the Badab War source material and is distinct from Ghosar Quintus. Its position on the Ultima chart is recorded with zero confidence.

Furioso was travelling home for the Chapter’s 5,000th founding anniversary. Word Bearers under Periclitor, joined by Night Lords allies, boarded his barge using Dreadclaw boarding craft. Survivors of the assault escaped by drop pod to Arios Quintus, where the attack was completed. The Arios Beacon and Arios Point are neighbouring names on the chart; this entry denotes the planet on which the pods landed.

Arios Quintus remains associated with the Howling Griffons’ loss of their Chapter Master. Unofficial summaries place it under the Ultima parent and do not conflate it with the other Quintus entries in this batch.
