Arkunasha

Arkunasha is a desert world of the T’au Empire, colonised in the Second Sphere of Expansion, whose people live in bio-dome cities along its temperate bands.

Its oxide deserts, which Earth caste surveyors judged to be the remains of an ancient civilisation, are swept by rust storms that strip unprotected flesh and appear to seek out living targets. One account dates the colony to the period after the Damocles Crusade. The Orks of Waaagh! Dok invaded the world, and the ensuing Arkunasha War, commanded for the T’au by Commander Farsight, gave him his name.
