Aureus

Aureus was a human colony in a binary cluster designated Drakonis Three Eleven, governed in the last years of the Great Crusade by the Auretian Technocracy. The Technocracy built its civilisation on knowledge from at least one Standard Template Construct (STC), an ancient template for technology, and its military, the Brotherhood, wore power armour similar to that of the Space Marines.

After Horus killed the Technocracy’s ruler, the Fabricator Consul Emory Salignac, aboard the Vengeful Spirit, the Sons of Horus of the 63rd Expeditionary Fleet, the World Eaters and a contingent of the Emperor’s Children waged the Auretian Technocracy War against the colony. The campaign ended at the Battle of the Iron Citadel, and the Technocracy was destroyed. The colony’s position in the galaxy is not firmly recorded.
