Avalorn

Avalorn is a Great Crusade compliance world in Segmentum Pacificus, the rock the Alpha Legion and Imperial Fists took together until an affair of honour at the Fortress of Jakalla needed the Emperor to stop a duel. This zero-confidence pin is that Extermination-book namesake.

The war was almost over when ranking officers of both Legions decided honour mattered more than the last wall. The Emperor himself intervened so loyalists would not spill loyalist blood in front of a finished compliance. Published maps barely place it; this explorer keeps the Pacificus parent.

Avalorn still matters as a named Alpha Legion/Fists joint war. Unofficial summaries keep Segmentum Pacificus and do not invent a Sabbat Worlds re-parent just because the name sounds chivalric.
