Bakka Triumveron

Bakka Triumveron is a yellow-and-violet gas giant in the Bakka System, orbited by fourteen colonised moons. It is distinct from Bakka, the lava-raft naval fortress of Segmentum Tempestus. This dossier records Bakka Triumveron as a planet within bakka-sector, the classification under which the entry was originally charted.

The hive moons Rogelin, Sanctuary, Half Hope and Grey Harbour made the system one of the most populated near the galactic core. The fourteenth moon is too unstable to support hives and instead supplies geothermal power to one of the largest naval dockyards between Sol and Ultramar. During the Heresy, the Word Bearers’ Furious Abyss entered these dockyards for repairs. The storms and rings of the giant itself are uninhabitable.

Bakka Triumveron remains significant as the planet around which the dockyards orbit. Its entry stays within bakka-sector, is kept separate from the dossier for Battlefleet Bakka, and is not reclassified as a star.
