Basitar

Basitar is the remains of a daemon world, a world transformed by the warp, in the Pyris Nebula, a region of dust clouds just inside the mouth of the Eye of Terror that conceals twelve daemon worlds serving the Black Legion as a staging ground. It was formerly the fortress of the Death Guard warlord Xulgith Grawl, a lieutenant of Thagus Daravek, during the Legion Wars; in the conflict’s closing days, Abaddon destroyed the world, and the Black Legion remade its remains into a shipyard and refuelling station.

Watched over by champions of the Black Legion, Basitar has become the principal destination for those who wish to pledge themselves to Abaddon. The approaches are hazardous, and arrivals face further tests of strength and loyalty. No coordinates for Basitar are recorded.
