Beseritor

Beseritor is a hive world of the Orpheus Salient in the Jericho Reach and the last major prize of the Achilus Crusade before Hive Fleet Dagon arrived. It serves as a resupply hive and should be distinguished from the feral world of Aurum and from Watch Station Andronicus.

Before the Age of Apostasy, the system supplied the old Jericho Sector with munitions, recruits, and grain. The Achilus Crusade took the hive. The arrival of Hive Fleet Dagon later made it a rally point, as several failing systems lie a short warp journey away. Its manufactoria operate at capacity, and administrative staff dispute whether a Beseritor regiment could be raised, since none can be spared.

Beseritor remains the Orpheus Salient hive that the crusade cannot afford to lose. Unofficial summaries keep it under its Ultima parent and distinguish it from the Orpheus Sector namesake associated with Amarah Prime.
