Castellax

Castellax is a former Iron Warriors fortress-world in Medrengard, left to Orks in the forty-first millennium. It was a world of slave-forges and drained oceans, and it was defended by the Witch Wall, a barrier of caged psykers.

The Third Grand Company of the Iron Warriors held the planet under Warsmith Andraaz. In the forty-first millennium, Waaagh! Biglug, an Ork invasion, and a revolt of the planet’s slaves together killed the Warsmith. With the Warsmith dead, the planet passed to the Orks.

Castellax is classed as a tithe-world of Medrengard and is not associated with Isstvan. Its history records the loss of an Iron Warriors fortress-world through the combined effect of internal revolt and external Ork attack.
