Cernis IV

Cernis IV is the fourth planet of the Cernis System in the Magulanox Sector, formerly an Imperial penal world whose convicts worked promethium refineries around its north pole. The region around the pole holds many crystalline formations of an unidentified material, and the planet has at least six moons, whose interacting orbits distort its atmosphere. During the Hunt for Voldorius the White Scars under Kor’sarro Khan attacked an Alpha Legion-held refinery there in the belief that the Daemon Prince Kernax Voldorius was present; the installation was a trap, and its convict workers had joined the Alpha Legion.
