Chinchare
Chinchare is the rogue star of the wandering Chinchare System, a gravitic-storm sun that once lay near the Eye. A rogue star is one that travels independently rather than remaining fixed in a stellar neighbourhood.
The star later carried its remaining worlds through the Halo Stars. It is classified as a star and should be distinguished from the mining asteroid that Eisenhorn visited. That asteroid is a separate planetary entry, “cinchare”, listed under the Ghost Stars grouping. Lexicanum may treat the two spellings as a single subject, but 40k Orrery records them as distinct objects.
Chinchare remains the Halo Stars’ wandering-star entry. Unofficial notes retain “chinchare-system” as its own record and decline to merge the star with the mine that Eisenhorn visited.
