Clove

Clove is a Hazeroth hive in the Calixis Sector that hosts the subsector Arch-Diocese and raises the 23rd Drusus Dragoons. It is thus both an ecclesiastical seat and a source of Imperial Guard troops.

The hive’s economy rests on the refining of scav-glysten, and its population consumes Hesiod’s Wake. Clove also dispatches Guard forces from its own levies, of which the 23rd Drusus Dragoons form part. Its inhabitants observe devotion to the saint.

Clove’s standing derives from the combination of these functions: religious administration for the subsector, industrial refining, and military recruitment. Its place within the Calixis Sector is that of a hive supporting both the Imperial Creed and the Imperial Guard.
