Colcha

Colcha is an agricultural world in Pacificus, known chiefly for a farmers’ uprising against occupying forces during the Plague of Unbelief. The rebellion is the principal event published about the world.

The uprising began when the message of Confessor Dolan reached the farming population. The farmers burned their fields, drove gigantic gorbeasts (large domesticated animals) through the tank companies of Bucharis, and flooded their own towns. They also threw fuel-bottle grenades at the occupiers, and they continued until the occupying forces withdrew.

Lexicanum lists no Colchan regiment, so the world is not recorded as a source of Imperial Guard troops. Its standing therefore rests on this single rebellion, and little is published about it beyond that episode.
