Cypra Chasmis

Cypra Chasmis is an unverified location entry in Segmentum Pacificus, distinct from Cypra Mundi, the forge world and fleet capital of Segmentum Obscurus. The entry is a residual placement and should not be read as a second Cypra Mundi. Some maps place an additional "Cypra" in the wrong half of the galaxy, and this entry records that name.

Cypra Mundi lies on the Nihilus side of the Rift. It dispatches Battlefleet Obscurus towards the approaches to the Eye of Terror and hosts the Collegium Analytica. Ultramarines of the Crusade era relieved it during an Ork war. Cypra Chasmis has no corresponding Segmentum fortress, no Annihilator-pattern battleship and no Obscurus command office.

Cypra Chasmis is retained as a leftover name and not as a fleet capital. Unofficial summaries keep it within Segmentum Pacificus, do not attribute Battlefleet Obscurus to it, and do not reassign the entry to Cypra Mundi.
