Cypra Mundi

Cypra Mundi is the forge world and fleet capital of Segmentum Obscurus, from which Battlefleet Obscurus is directed. In that capacity it serves as the command point from which the battlefleet deploys into the approaches to the Eye of Terror.

The Ultramarines liberated the world from an ork war during the Great Crusade. Forces of Chaos have since sought to seize control of it. Following the opening of the Great Rift, Cypra Mundi has lain on the Nihilus side of the division that the Rift created in the Imperium.

Beyond its naval role, Cypra Mundi is known for its industrial output. Aircraft patterns produced on the world appear in the inventories of Imperial Guard regiments throughout the Imperium.
