Devlan is an Eastern Fringe mining world eaten by Hive Fleet Kraken, the Lamenters-and-Cadian last stand that also lent its name to a paint shade. This Ultima pin is that 990.M41 evacuation rock, not Mortrex and not Tyran.

Novastorm stations bought time. Key personnel left; most citizens were secondary cargo. A Lamenters company died in the last streets while a wrecked freighter seeded worse things, including the Red Terror's hunting ground. Devlan is a Kraken tomb with a census the Imperium already closed.
