Dragos

Dragos is a world given over almost entirely to dense, warp-touched jungle, its canopy concealing ruins, predatory wildlife and pockets of daemonic corruption that have resisted repeated attempts at cleansing. Imperial surveys of the world are incomplete, and the Adeptus Mechanicus has maintained only small research stations on its margins given the risks posed by the interior. Towards the close of the 41st millennium, Dragos became the focus of a Space Wolves expedition searching for survivors of the Chapter’s 13th Great Company, members of which had been transformed into the feral Wulfen and were believed to be ranging the jungle’s depths. The expedition fought through daemon-haunted terrain, contending with both the planet’s native hazards and the corrupted entities drawn to it, before locating and recovering the Wulfen they sought. Stranded Adeptus Mechanicus personnel cut off within the jungle were also found and extracted during the same operation. Dragos remains largely unexplored and is considered unsafe for any but heavily armed expeditions.
