Elysium IX

Elysium IX was the jungle-and-savannah home of the Celestial Lions in Elara’s Veil, overrun by the Exilarchy following the Great Rift. The world sustained a hunter culture until that conquest.

After the Great Rift, the Exilarchy overran the world and ended its existence as a Celestial Lions holding. Chapter Master Ekene Dubaku, the Celestial Lions’ commander, attempted to evacuate what could be saved. The evacuation was directed toward Nemeton, a world of the Emperor’s Spears.

Elysium IX is therefore recorded chiefly as a lost homeland, its fate bound to the Exilarchy’s advance and to the evacuation towards Nemeton. The Orrery’s map marker for the location is placed in the Ghost Stars, which are not part of Elara’s Veil, the region in which the world lies.
