Epsilon Octarius

Epsilon Octarius is a variant spelling of Epsion Octarius, a Solar swamp world, recorded on this map under the Octarius Sector. It is distinct from Octarius, the capital of the Overfiend, which is catalogued separately within the same sector.

The published sources disagree on the placement and spelling of the world. Apocalypse prints the name as Epsilon and locates it just inside Solar. Codex: Chaos lists Epsion in Tempestus as an Ork world, and Grey Knights returns Epsion to Solar. Lexicanum treats the two spellings as probable typographical errors for a single lush Crotalid world. This explorer retains a separate pin for each spelling, and this entry is the sector-side record of the Epsilon form.

The entry has standing only as a record of that spelling variant. It is not identified with Gargates, and it does not carry the account of Kryptman’s Leviathan gambit, which belongs to the entry for Octarius. The description of the Solar swamp world is held in the entry for Epsion Octarius.
