Exhubris II

Exhubris II is a swamp tomb world of xenos pyramids, the Magos hunt where Stygies VIII and Mars fought Ulthwé for a webway gate in 029.M41. This Obscurus pin is that Cult Mechanicus battleground, not Hubris the Helican ice-trap.

Stygies explorators started opening the pyramids; Ulthwé poured from hidden portals. Dominus Kryptaestrex answered the distress because he wanted a working gate, not because he loved Stygies. Mars reinforcements hammered the Eldar; one portal was captured; the Magos went back to the tombs. Necron architecture is the obvious bet under the swamp.

Exhubris II still matters as a named Quest for Knowledge fight. Unofficial summaries keep the Obscurus parent and do not parent this swamp to hubris-system just because the name rhymes.
