Fenksworld

Fenksworld is a hive world in the Josian Reach that hosts a Battlefleet Calixis depot. The world is comparatively small, and its industrial character is marked by the smoke and grime of its hive settlements.

Two of its hives are recorded in particular. Hive Nova Castillia concealed xenotech, meaning technology of alien origin, belonging to a Beast House. Hive Volg extends sideways over acid fens rather than rising as a single vertical mass. On one occasion an admiral rammed the battleship Tempest Child into the docks of the world, damaging the depot’s facilities.

Fenksworld’s modest scale gives it a particular standing among the cults of the region. Cults use it as a test bed for their methods before they attempt the larger worlds of Scintilla or Malfi. The collision of the Tempest Child forms part of a wider record of calamity attributed to the world.
