Firestorm System

The Firestorm System is the industrial home system of the Aurora Chapter, a Second Founding Ultramarines successor, in the Ultima Segmentum. Its macro-complexes, which are very large industrial installations, are comparable in scale to those of the forge worlds. The name should not be confused with that of the Firestorm-class Navy hulls.

The Chapter manufactures surplus Land Raiders and Predators, both battle tanks, within the system. Armoured assault holds a central place in the Chapter’s culture and practice. Local production means that its tanks do not depend on a distant forge for shells.

The Firestorm System remains the factory-home of the Chapter, which is characterised by its emphasis on armoured warfare. Unofficial maps continue to place it within the Ultima Segmentum.
