Furibundus is a world recorded within the Koronus Expanse, the frontier region beyond Imperial space charted by Rogue Trader dynasties. It is logged among the many systems noted by Imperial navigators and Explorators mapping the Expanse’s warp routes since the region opened to Imperial contact, rather than counted among the well-travelled worlds of the wider Segmentum Obscurus.

As with much of the Expanse, surviving Imperial records of Furibundus are fragmentary. Charts note its existence without full agreement on its precise coordinates, population, or strategic value, and later Rogue Trader logs are not consistent on its exact identification. No campaign, siege, or notable engagement tied to the world is attested in surviving accounts, and whatever history it held before contact with Imperial explorators, if any survives at all, remains unrecorded.

Furibundus is accordingly treated as an unplaced point on the Koronus Expanse’s charted fringe, alongside better-documented waypoints such as the trade hub of Footfall and the holdings of dynasties like House Winterscale, which anchor the region’s known timeline of exploration, rivalry, and xenos contact. Its place within that wider constellation is acknowledged rather than fixed, pending fuller record of its position and history.
