Galen System

The Galen System is a Maelstrom Zone well fought over for six years of the Badab War, a prize that changed hands until Galen II's domes died and refugees packed Galen VI. Fire Hawks and secessionists both bled here.

Sons of Medusa and the Ordo Hereticus subjugated Old City in 910.M41 and turned the planet into a prison-state. Survivors went to penal legions; the world stayed barely habitable on purpose. Galen V is a quieter desert sister in the same well.

The Galen System still matters as a Badab leftover that became a jail. Unofficial maps keep the Ultima parent.
